Rotational moulding<\/b><\/span><\/span> (rotomoulding) is one of the thermoplastic processing technologies, perfectly suited to the production of large hollow parts. In the first stage, the mould reflecting the shape of the product is loaded by filling in the right amount of plastic in the form of powder or microgranules. In the heating chamber, as the temperature increases, the material acquires a liquid consistency. Through the multi-axis rotation of the mould, the raw material is evenly distributed over the walls of the vessel, which ensures uniform thickness of the product. After the material has completely melted, the mould is removed from the production stove and cooled using air and\/or water. During this stage, rotation continues and the mass gradually solidifies. In the final phase, the machine stops, the mould opens and the finished product is extracted – the cycle is closed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our technological facilities are equipped with two types of machines used for rotational moulding – carousel and shuttle devices. Carousel type machines have a larger number of arms, which significantly exceeds the others in terms of production efficiency. They enable simultaneous heating, cooling and loading of moulds depending on the production stage on a given arm. Shuttle machines are mainly used to make medium-sized elements, they are equipped with two opposite arms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Due to the possibility of producing elements of various shapes, colours and dimensions, rotational casting has a wide spectrum of applications. Rotary products are commonly present in:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • agriculture (tanks, funnels, drinking troughs, silos);<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • gardening (garden ponds, flower pots, compost bins, wheelbarrows, drainage systems);<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • motorisation (fuel tanks, dashboards, car covers and roofs);<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • hunting (carcass trays, pastures);<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • telecommunications (telecommunications manholes);<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • environmental protection (sewage treatment plant tanks, waste containers, separators);<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • life-saving, medicine (mannequins, boards for transporting the wounded, wheelchairs, buoys and life belts);<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • recreational accessories (kayaks, boats, toys).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":783,"parent":0,"template":"","acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n\n\n\n\t\n
